NOV 6 & 7 UPDATE

CHARTERED FRIDAY, 11/10

Monday was another good day of striper fishing with the boat limit by 11:30 am. Robin had the pool with a nice 20 pounder. Pictures of Robin, John, Pat, Joey.  Tuesday was a cold and dreary November day, but we had hearty anglers aboard. Just 25 minutes into the trip, the bass were jumping all around the boat but they would not bite. Jake was determined to get them biting, so he threw every available lure at them, all with no success, so it was time to move on. Went to Monday's hotspot, but the bass were not there, so we did a bit of looking around and then we hit the mother load! Insane fishing with an easy boat limit on keepers plus some bonus fish to go home. Many keeper size bass had to be released for another day, including Paul"s almost 25 pounder. Back to the dock early with smiling faces for all. Check out pictures of Paul & Mike, Joe, Bill & Bob Jim and the NY guys. Good people, Good fishing fun and a Good day to be a party boat captain!

11/4 & 11/5 UPDATE

Lot of boat traffic, as expected, over the weekend so we had to work a bit harder for fish. Again continued action on the shorts, but some nice quality bass were boated. Sunday was quite an uncomfortable ocean, but that was where the fish were, so we stuck it out as long as possible. Check photo album, November, for latest picks of Glen, Shane and his group with a keeper each, John and Anthony with their 2 keepers, Stan with a  keeper, Alex (dad) with a keeper and Alex (son) with Keeper& bonus fish and he got the pool as well.

NOV 2- STRIPERS

FINALLY, the Stripers seemed to have arrived.  Wednesday saw mostly short action with a few keepers. Thursday was a melee of action from the first drop in the morning. Non-stop action on tons of shorts and  by 11:00 am, the boat limit on keepers on swim shads and top water plugs. No Bonus fish these trip as we were fishing NY Waters, but we have the tags. Check out the photo section, November, to see Brian, Jake, Chris, Dave and a group shot of the small group of anglers aboard on Thursday. Good weather forecast for Friday and Saturday, so grab your gear and head out to the boat. You have to be here to get in on it, when you read about it, it is too late. Join us on our daily fishing adventure.

FRI 11/3 STRIPER UPDATE

Another good day of fishing, plenty of action on the shorts, many of them NJ Bonus tag eligible, keeping anglers busy all day. FYI, when we fish NY waters, we cannot keep any stripers under 28", the Bonus tag program is only for NJ, thus we must throw them back. and if we have legal NJ bonus fish on board, we cannot fish in NY waters. Add that to not being able to fish federal waters where so many of the stripers are, and it is just another over zealous regulation forced on recreational anglers. Whew! sorry for the rant. As we expected, the boat traffic was heavy and tomorrow it will be worse, yet the fish were boiling all over the place. We had a good gang of people aboard today and did manage about a dozen keeper bass as we weeded through the tons of shorts, just not enough for all aboard. Check out the latest pictures in the photo album, November.  Swim shads were the lure of choice today and spinners work best. Back at it tomorrow, so join us on our fishing adventure.
